Having read several Norton motorcycle books I would have to say this is the most comprehensive book available. The early history is well documented, especially in regards to it's founder James L. Norton. The author does have a bias for the racing history, he raced sidecars earlier in his career, but does provide a good overview in regards to what was going on with the company. He provides the significant changes in the models and the production numbers for most models and years. However, it's not a comprehensive list for all the models and years. He does cover the racing history in detail and provides a table in the appendix of the wins by year. The final years of the company are glossed over in comparison to the early years. The book is well written, interesting and easy to read. Norton made it's reputation in racing and this book does a great job of covering that history.

This provides a good history of Norton motorcycles and their racing history with a fantastic collection of photographs.

The condition of this book was excellent, just like new and the quality of contents is exactly what I wanted, giving my son, who received it as a gift, the history of the Norton that he wanted. I will not hesitate to purchase books from you in the future. Thank you.
